I defintely think both kids are now aware of the letter recognition with the picture. We have the magnets in alphabetical order - Caiti (5) was originally mumbling her alphabet song; now she sings it clearly and all the letters perfectly because of help of the magnets!!!!
When we are reading Caiti is sounding words out. Now she is in Kindergarten and is learning some of that too, but TJ (3) is really learning a lot of it too. He know just about all of his letters and is always at the fridge with the magnets. They both say, for example, "Igloo," then they say other words that start with I. Caiti's favorite picture is the old lady, lol. Catherine, TX

I just wanted to let you know that I gave the magnets to Mila, who was 3 in January, on Sunday and she L O V E S them. She now stands beside the washing machine reciting her abcs pointing out the letters as she goes. She has also started to recognize the letter by the picture, which I know is what you had in mind but to me it's just great to see her learn like this. Ger, Ireland
